  The Soroca Fortress built in 1499 has been used to garrison Moldovan troops against Turkish, and Polish invaders during medieval times. Beautiful place, and they have added historical roofs to the turrets.

  Nice fortress, but the most breathtaking is the view on the river and Ukraine on the other side!

  A nicely renovated XVth century Soroca Fortress, once a historic fort in the Republic of Moldova, a good chance to get a snapshot of history. Beautiful views over Soroca town, Dnister River and Ukraine.
